How does that sound for a total contradiction?  There is no info button to get more information.

Client is unable to finish updating the sales journal. 

They do use Avatax and I do note that they had some sort of disruption early this morning,  but the client was having the problem Friday night and Saturday.  They can't try updating again until this evening (they refuse to use batches).

Search of the knowledgebase turned up a similar item but for accounts payable suggesting that there may be corrupted dates.  So far we have been unable to identify any bad dates.

Thoughts?

I have this same issue for one client that also has Avalara and eBizCharge. There are two scenarios where I've seen this occur: one where all invoices in the batch contain only / items, and the other where the majority of invoices have the AVATAX tax schedule assigned but 1-2 invoices have NONTAX. In the first case, I'll have them add an invoice with some inventory items, and the other, change from NONTAX to AVATAX. I have tried working with Avalara/DSD Support for months but either I get no answer at all, or that they cannot duplicate the issue on their side. They won't troubleshoot directly on the client's system.

Client reports that they were able to update last night so it would appear that the issue was with Avalara.
