It would be nice if the 64 bit installation and switch utility checked the versions of the required programs and stopped the installation if there was a compatibility issue.

This issue has been resolved. @Jeff Schwenk .. You put me on the right track. It wasn't the Crystal run time programs however, when I was looking at the Crystal run time per your suggestion in Control Panel I noticed that the Sage 64-bit ODBC driver had a date on it that was a couple of years old. I uninstalled the older 64-bit ODBC driver and then installed it from the wksetup\prerequisites\64bit odbc folder. Presto... It's now working. Thank you!
