  • 1.  Unable to password protect pdf document

    I have had two separate clients call telling me that they get "Unable to password protect pdf document" message when attempting to generate and email the direct deposit stubs to employees.  There is a KKB article which days to reinstall the PU and to check rights on the pdf directory.  Reinstalling the PU again did not help and the user does have full control permissions on the pdf directory.  If they log in as an administrator they are able to process with out the error, so I think if is righhts related.  Anyone else getting calls about this or have any ideas?

    Are the Form options set to use SSN? 

    Does the user generating stubs have PII access in their role? 

    I haven't seen this, so this is totally speculation as to a potential cause.

    They are using the SSN, but they do have PII access.
