  • 1.  Unable to get AESCrypto.dll Library Address when accessing e-Filing

    Sage100 Advanced 2021.2. We are getting "Unable to get AESCrypto.dll Library Address" both on the Sage100 server and the Remote Desktop server. Everyone is on the one Remote Desktop server. Reviewed all the Sage KB's and followed all the suggestions but nothing is working. Copied the AESCrypto.dll from my server to theirs, still not working.  I'm logged in as Administrator and the Sage Application service has full access has well. Any suggestions?

    @Wayne Schulz Yes, it runs in MAS90 mode. It allowed me to run the Automatic Update. But when i exit and go back to Advanced mode. it still errors out. Not sure why or what it means that it runs one way but not the other

    @Doug Higgs per the KB I gave the host full permission to the programdata\sage\common components both on the application server and on the Remote Desktop server.

    Maybe as a test, try using the domain administrator account to logon to the Sage 100 host service.

    @Doug Higgs. I'll have to try that when users are out. I called Sage and they are saying it's a permissions issue. They suggested I run Sage as an Application instead of a Service, and also try re-assigning permissions of the Host. I'll have to try all that later in the day/night. Thanks,​

    Kenny - I just has same exact scenario, runs under 90 mode but not when running ADV as a service v21.2. Although the service account did show full permissions to the Sage MAS90 + the programdata\sage\common components in my case we promoted the service account to be a domain admin. and that did fix the problem.  Were demoting the permissions it again after e-filing.
