Found this KB id = 110-9000003 when troubleshooting for a newly upgraded client.
As a result of this functionality no longer available with Crystal 2011, client workflow was modified to preview document (in their case, Sales Order), export to Adobe Acrobat using Application as export type. Document launches, but when select to Export to Email, there is no response.
Resolution: update Adobe Reader to version XI, which has enhanced functionality in this area.
