  • 1.  UDF's not publishing to data dictionary (SQL Premium 2020.1)

    After adding a UDF it does not show up in the data dictionary.  Anyone having this problem?  Ideas, suggestions?  

    I tried Updating UDFs, made sure nothing is in the 'pending' area.

    One other unusual occurrence is that after I add a UDF when I go back in to add another UDF it says "The UDF cannot be performed at this time because 'table name' is in use in the following companies".

    Wondering if there is a way to force it to update the data dictionary?

    I saw an article (attached) that said "It is possible that the Providex.KDF file is missing a record and it is writing to a Providex file instead of the SQL table."  

    I would not be able to restore this file because we just completed an upgrade and there are many modifications involved.  Would reinstalling them fix it?  Might one of the modifications be the culprit?

    The issue was resolved in this case by running the SY_ACTIVATION_BUS.  See attachment 1.  (And prayers of several people)

    Fortunately for me this resolved the issue.  Otherwise, I would have had to replace the data dictionaries .  See attachment 2.
