    Beth,
    I believe this is what you need to do. 
    Your next step is to  add your UDF to the table IM_TransactionPosting and source that from the UDF that you previously added to the PM_TransactionRegisterUPD table 


    Then add your UDF to the IM_ItemCost table and source that from the IM_TransactionPosting
