UDF from CI_Item (sometimes) not coming through to SO_SalesOrderDetail

  • 1.  UDF from CI_Item (sometimes) not coming through to SO_SalesOrderDetail

    Sage 100 2022.2 Premium.  UDF on CI_Item, used only on msic items and charges, is set to come over into SO_SalesOrderDetail.  Sometimes it does, sometimes it does  not.  It is not specific to any one item.

    HAs anyone seen this (mis)behavior/have any idea how to correct?

    If you are using a Copy From function, those events don't work the same way.  Check tab 3 of the UDF setup to make sure you set it up for those sources...

    Hi - if the sourcing is not right, it may not come over when an order is copied, etc.

    Unfortunately not solved  the copy is now checked, but there were two more orders where the UDF did not come through as it should this morning.

    Any other ideas?

    Does this happen for all new orders, or can you narrow it down to a few orders and see how they were created?

    Was the UDF resized by any chance?  Perhaps some values won't "fit" into the SO field, if only the CI_Item field was made bigger.

    UDF is Y/N.  So far today it only went wrong on 2 out of 60 (there were mote than 10 yesterday morning) but it should be 0...

    Is the UDF in CI_item populated for Y?N for all misc items?
