UDF Changes not updating to Visual Integrator We've noticed that if you change the size on a User-Defined Field, and that field previously exists on an import Job in VI you have to remove and re-add the field in VI to get the new field size. this seems like this is not a big deal until you go through and change the field size on about 15 different UDF's that are part of an import of about 50 fields. I was just wondering if there was any routine or update we should be running that we have missed.

That's not specific to UDFs. I just ran into it with the increased field length of the AP invoice number field. I had to delete the field from my VI job and add it back to get it to recognize the 20 characters in Sage 2013.

You also have this issue in Crystal but the fix is to refresh the database...

Ok, at least I'm not just missing something obvious. the ""refresh database"" in crystal is sort of what I was hoping for with VI.

Don't get me started. EVERY time there is a PU installed and the PR1 table has a UDF, I have to remember to recompile the UDF's in that table or else the PR entry VI will fail. I also have to remove the selection criteria (hrs > 0) and add it back it..
