So I was logging in on a client's server this morning (Sage 2025 Std) and it was slow to respond and I got impatient (HORRORS!). When I logged in, it just cleared the login screen and displayed it again, which I thought was odd because you normally get a message about your login/password being incorrect.  When I was finishing up with what I was doing and closed Sage, lo and behold, there was another Launcher up.  BOTH logins had started up a Sage instance.

Is this a case of incredibly impeccable timing - both pvxwin64s booting up at the exact same time (as exact same as can actually be, in computer time)?

Beth, I have never seen that happen before.  I wonder if it is something you can recreate and may be isolated to v2025 Standard?

I know Sage did a couple things to make the 32-bit to 64-bit transition a bit easier, but I don't have a 64-bit Standard handy to look.

WAG: I wonder in the shortcut / launcher is starting pvxwin32.exe, which checks the system and then starts pvxwin64.exe for a 64-bit system... with the new logic having loophole to allow two sessions from the same workstation.  Hmm.

I'm running 2025 64 bit Std and it's certainly not letting me run it twice. If it does start one and then check, I guess that gives you one more millisecond of opportunity to start another.... very weird indeed.
