  • 1.  TTU issued last Friday for Oregon doesn't appear to be correct

Just a heads-up for folks who have Oregon clients: I'm fairly sure the 2020 tables for the State of Oregon are not correct.  They don't match the 2020 documentation from the State for Oregon State Withholding.  Sage only updated the Supplemental Percentage for each of the OR filing statuses, but did not update the Dependent Exemption or the tables themselves.  I've notified Sage and sent documentation from the State of Oregon to them - and I'll update you if/when I know something more.

John Nichols (even though he is on vacation until the 7th!) let me know that Sage didn't receive the changes for Oregon until after the TTU was released last Friday.  (I think everyone knows, but I should clarify, this is for the "legacy" 2017 Payroll - not 2018 or 2019.)  There is supposed to be another updated TTU coming out on Monday, the 30th, that will indeed have the updated Oregon Tax Tables.  I wasn't aware that another TTU would be coming out so soon, but it is!  (And you are very welcome @Karen O'Lane!)
