Sage 100

Trying to upgrade a customer from Sage 100 standard 2015 to 2018. I'm running into a problem getting crystal reports 2016 to work with the earlier version of Sage. I can get it to work on the advanced versions but not the standard versions. Has anyone else encountered this issue and have a workaround?

@ShannonStanley - Therese's link above is just one of many on the subject in SC. Crystal 2016 was a last minute add to the release and nothing was tested by the beta bunch. Sage is learning as the calls come in. Major PITA!!!!

I sat with Linda at MOTM hoping to understand why Crystal 2016 was a last minute addition. I didn't really get much more info other than I think they wanted Sage 100 to be on the same Crystal as FAS. Nobody is really happy with this Crystal compatibility issue including Sage.

In order for the client to test standard Sage 2018 while still using standard Sage 2015, I add to install wksetup on all pc's in the office even though not all users were testing the new 2018 version. Thanks everyone for the helpful tips and link.

Hmm - I have a 4.4 UG coming up and the fear of the Crystal compatibility issue is a major concern. In this case, it is high security (medical) and 15+ users. Only one or two want/need to test. It will be a major bummer if I have to convince IT to shadow me to every remote PC and install workstation setup.
