Trying to set up Sage Intelligence to report from Sage 100 retail calendar (i.e. Period 2 = 1/24/2018 - 2/27/2018). We select period 2 and SI reports by calendar period. Fiscal Year is set up as 4-4-5 format.

Do you have a parameter setup to be entered when running the account?

No parameter...just trying to pull account balance from period 2

This might be the dumb question - but did you open Report Manager in the company you are trying to run the report for? For non consolidation, you have to open when in the company (or right click open with) or it pulls the company data for the company you opened it in. It does work with fiscal periods, so it must be a setting or configuration.

Report Design Question - when you ran out the report originally and built it, you hard coded the year and period in the report and your formulas reference these cells for year/period along with GL link? You're using GLActual or GLActualYTD or GLClosingBalance? Can you snippet the area of your report with the year/period and the formula?

Yes, thanks. Did customer change fiscal year setup, is it truly FY 2018 or due to change is it FY 2019? On another note - if you put a negative in front of the GLActual, you don't need the *-1.

    1) this is actually a new setup, so it's been the 4-4-5 setup from the beginning 2) Thx...I actually just learned that today. I'll use that from now on.

Not sure this will help at all, but some time ago I discovered that the Fiscal Period Start date in the hidden Fiscal Year Detail tab is actually a calculated field, rather than pulled from the Fiscal Year Table in Sage 100. You can see this if you go back to Source container that creates the Fiscal Year Detail tab. It has a problem when you are not using non-calendar end dates (ie: 4-4-5 quarters). While this will cause problems with any formulas that might use that field (ie titles, etc) I did not find that it caused the Period Balances to be wrong as they come straight from the PeriodPostingHistory table so they should still be correct.
