Trying to set up CI in company in v2013 and, after going through wizard, it says ""You do not have security rights to modify the record."" I have already set up GL but cannot setup AP, etc. Help!

Have you double checked all the security rights for your role?

Standard. It has been restarted since the install, yes.

Have you restarted the computer? Sage 100 Standard or Advanced?

Just had a customer get a somewhat similar but probably unrelated error when they were trying to change their Fax printer in company maintenance. I think (though they're still going back and forth with their IT) the issue was they couldn't authenticate to the FAX. I'm wondering if the rights might be referring to some type of network rights?

It's on my c: drive... and I have admin rights.

We had a case where a security-role got corrupted. Try setting up a brand-new role with all rights and assign yourself to it. That worked for us.

Tried that. Didn't work. Also set up new user.

Hmm. Copied company to new company and now it works.
