Trying to restore client on v4.2 after server crash. Learned that last good backup was in August (we won't go there). Long story short - I re-installed fresh copy of 4.2 (no mods) on new server and copied company data IT pulled off the crashed drive. There is definitely data corruption in GL and AP files, but trying to get them back on their feet without having to go back to August. Not sure if I can pull it off, but at the moment, after rebuilding GL data files, I'm getting Error 84 No DICTIONARY exists on OPENed File message when I try to run reports (Trial Balance, GL Detail) or Recalculate Account Balances. The KB indicates bad SY_Company, but it's a fresh one. Am going to do some more data repair, but anyone run into this and know what this message really means?
