Trying to remember if MRP will look at Master Orders (just the Balance quantities). I can't find anything in writing but in testing it appears to ignore Master Orders. Not sure if I'm mising a setting somewhere- @DebThomas?

It ignores Master and Repeating orders Eric. Only active Sales or Purchase Orders will be included in the calculations.
