Trying to generate a simple Departmental Income St

Trying to generate a simple Departmental Income Statement using the Financial Reporting in GL in Sage 100 version 4.50. I receive the message ""Module P/R is not on file"" with only an OK in the message box. I've also tried to run any of the 3 Standard Financial Reports and the same message occurs. The client does not own Payroll and does not have it activated. Help please.

Have you checked to make sure that a service update didn't create a PR folder?

Thanks @DianaLaughner. I found a PR folder and deleted it, but that is all I found. Same problem exists.

Perhaps there is a record in the SY_Module file?

I already checked the SY_Module file and no PR records are in there. :(

SY0ctl.soa? Always a fun file to browse.

Thanks for the SY0CTL suggestion ... I scoured that file now and came up with no P/R records. I might have to break down and call Sage.

I have seen this and cannot locate in my notes. Does the activity log have an error message?

I checked the Sys Activity Log and there are no errors.

Make a copy company and try there? How about trying to activate payroll and then deleting it?

When you go to company maintenance, does it list the Payroll module? If so, delete it from there

They don't own the Payroll module and it cannot be activated in company maintenance.

Anything activated under Payroll Services in GL? Also, do you get the same message working with demo data?
