Trying to figure out why a linked customer to Sage

Trying to figure out why a linked customer to Sage100 doesn't show the MAS_CustomerNo or any other field from MAS. When I create a quote it brings up the correct customer in MAS but it doesn't have the customer info displaying.

have you done any ""tweaking"" to the CRM company summary long form panel that may have messed with the standard scripts? Are you sure the CRM Customer type is ""Customer""? You should see the fields if it is a customer type and is also linked to MAS. You wouldn't see the field for a another type of customer.

Shows as customer. There were some fields added. The data in CU shows N records which indicate an issue. How they got there for some but not others not sure. I think the wizard linked the ones that have issues.

@ToddMartin - my team hasn't seen this particular issue but let me know if you want some help troubleshooting.

Well it turned out to be an issue with the workflow. The activity log for CRM showed an issue trying to find a transitionID and it couldn't find it. I think the transition was removed but then added back. When I compared it to the default it was listed in a different order. I am guessing that this changed the TransitionID being used although to the user the name existed and looked just as it had originally. I ended up restoring just the workflow tables and this fixed the issue after I ran the rebuild CRM. What was the hard part about this was some worked and others didn't. The companies that worked were those that linked before the change. Those companies after the change linked but no data transferred to CRM. The functionality of quotes made in MAS still worked as well as the relationship maint.

Not having fun with Workflows this week. I fixed my last issue. Everything looked fine. Went in and added an activity for an item and now my workflow will now show active. All I see is Actions: then the Current State: xxxxx where xxxxx is the current state. No workflow buttons under that. Looked at other workflows and none are showing like they should. I already removed what I had done to see if it did anything but nothing changed.

OK now I have realized that it only happens for me. Other users are ok.

Todd - it's probably a particular record that is not properly engaged in workflow. Check other records and see if the proper actions show up.

Thanks @PeterWolf , I think I am my own worst enemy at this point. I believe what happened is when I fixed what I did earlier it removed a current state that some opportunities and cases had. It seemed like it was only me having the issue but that was because only my opportunities that I worked on hat that stage. Once I checked the same opportunity by person I got like results. So I think I can just go in and set the stage to the correct point and go from there.

You should be able to create a new entry state and click ""Accept"" on the Oppo to bring it into workflow. Simply setting the stage field value won't do it. (at least it shouldn't because there is an entire mechanism of tables that control the workflow process - the stage is actually unrelated to the workflow state. Weird at first but once you get your head around it, it makes sense.)

I changed the dbo.opportunity.oppo_workflowID to a value that was valid and it picked up the flow from there.

As long as you are sure that is the correct workflow ID ... may the force be with you.

I closed my eyes and typed a number in.... Do you think that would be ok? Man I would hate it if I had myself as a customer.:)
