Trying to convert data from 4.30 upgrade to 2013 and the attached error occurs. I have rebuilt all AR Key files in the source company and remigrated but error still occurs. Help!!!

Had a similar message 6 months ago. Check the folder for presence of same file ending with an _. I renamed it to the original and restarted conversion. May have to do this for several files thereafter.

Is this a hard stop error or a gentle warning? Have you purged your expired CC data?

@MarkKotyla Can you clarify on this -- in the image Jane posted do you mean the AR_CustomerCreditCard file had duplicates - though some were with the ._ file extension instead of .M4T?

Sort of. During conversion, some files had dups like AR_CustomerCreditCard_xxx.M4T... where xxx is something like tmp or bak. I ended up renaming them to the original and restarted conversion. Don't have access to that server now, so can't get exact file names.

I didn't have any of the file extension problems mentioned above, but I regenerated the encryption key, uninstalled 5.0 and reinstalled, and remigrated the system and company data files and am in the process of converting data again. We'll see if I get the error again or not.

If the error reoccurs, try this... in the 430 release create a new company code and activate the modules. Once the new company code data files have been created, copy the company data getting the error to this new company code. In the 2013 (v5.0)release create this new company and Accept. Through windows explorer copy the new company data folder (MAS_xxx) from the 430 MAS90 to the v5.0 MAS90 directory. Log into v5.0 and convert this company data. This should give you a good definition on the embedded IO instead of running the replacement script in the new release. I offer this method as I am not sure is this is something that is corrupt in the system file or in the embedded IO's but the experience that I had with a simuliar situation (error 26 involving CC Encryption) had nothing to do with the company data. Hope this works for you.
