Trying to complete an upgrade from v4.20 PU16 to v4.50 PU2 and everything migrates and converts except PO. In v4.20 we have Extended Solutions PO-1033 Alt Unit of Measure and IM-1038 Alt Unit of Measure that are NOT being upgraded. I'm performing this upgrade in my office on a Windows 7 computer. I'm getting this error message: I found a knowledgebase Res ID 500527 that has you replace the PO_LevelConversion.pvc program, but this is for version 4.30 and not 4.50 and I am not getting the error in the article.

Maybe I should just activate the PO module as ""new"" in version 4.50 and use VI to export current POs from version 4.20 and import into v4.50? Would that work?

You wouldn't have history. Or the beloved Purchases Clearing report data.

Did you try replacing the PO_LevelConversion file in 4.5 as recommended?

I did try replacing the PO_LevelConversion file in 4.50, but Res ID 500527 talks about replacing it for version 4.30 so I'm guessing that PO_LevelConversion.pvc would only take my 4.20 files to level 4.30 and NOT level 4.50.

Maybe you should migrate to a 4.3 install, replace that file then convert. Then you could migrate from 4.3 to 4.5 without the error. (Possibly.)

Have you contacted a Master Developer about getting update versions of the PO enhancements?

@ThereseLogeais - Thank you for your help. That did it! I migrated from 4.20 > 4.30 using the swapped PO_LevelConversion.pvc program. I then migrated from 4.30 > 4.50 PU3 and all is well. I did this all on a Windows XP stand alone computer. I then copied my converted PO files to the network. @alanniergarth - The PO enhancement is no longer needed.
