  • 1.  Trying to add a UDF from SO Header to IM Order Inquiry - SO panel

    But the only fields available to add are from SO Detail. It has the program defined order number, date etc. but no UDF's are available. What am I missing?

    I found the same when testing.  Perhaps it is due to the Item being associated only with the Line, as opposed to the Header, record.

    Can you add a UDF to the line detail pulling data from the header?  Then to the IM ?

    If you don't want to go the route of sourcing the header UDF to the detail because either you don't want the additional UDF or because the header UDF could be changed which would not be reflected in the detail UDF unless you have a header pre-write or post-validate (on the UDF) event script that would loop through the lines and update the detail UDF then I believe I can write a post load script for the Orders tab that would bring in the header UDF in real time whenever the list box is loaded.  This would require the client to be on version 2015+.  Let me know if you are interested.
