TrueCommerce High Jump - Sage 100 V2013 PU 5. I need to set up UDF's for the TC Highjump EDI integration. I can either do this manually or use the tc_customizer_framework_Sage2013.M4X that they have supplied. Are there any pitfalls with using the M4X import. I am concerned that the panels get hosed but it appears that all of these UDF's are added to a separate tab for each panel. Thanks in advance for the thoughts.

I did the same thing a few months ago and had the same concerns, the SO Entry, Invoice and AR Customer panels were already customized. I did not want to take the chance the TC.M4X import would override my existing custom panels. I asked TC for a .M4X file that only contained the UDF's and UDT's but they were not able to provide that. So, I imported the TC.M4X to my local install, then exported their UDF's and UDT's, imported to the customer installation then manually created the panels and added the TC UDF's/UDT's. Did not take too long and figured it was better to safe than sorry.

Not sure if I want to try that. It appears based on the documentation that the new panel tabs hold all the information. There are 19 pages of UDF's. Do they include UDT's? It appears that the UDF's validate against a list, not a table.

I'd suggest manually, we have a client with a TON of UDF's and it's my intent to just push through it. While there may be a 'better' way, I like to control what I can in a situation like this. Good luck!

We've found it easier to instal the new panels from SPS, then update the customizations from there. I wouldn't want to recreate their tabs in Sales Order, Shipping ... unless I had and issue like @JohnWilder

Thanks. I think I will copy the MAS folder and install the file into the test folder. Will see what happens. Just a TON of ud's....

Hello @JeffSchwenk have you worked on this yet. I just received the UDF's from TC and it's quite a bit as well. Thoughts?

Install using the wizard BUT point the panel mods to the test company so that the live company panels are not touched . Then modify the four panels manually.
