Troy Turrentine

    For those of you who know Troy - he had a fall at his home and is in the ICU at UT and there is currently no brain activity.  Praying this changes.

    I don't know Troy, however, he was in the Sage 100 ecosystem so he was part of our brotherhood.  Praying for him.

    Anyone who knew Troy remembers him as one of the most creative, intelligent and principled people they ever met.  At an SLA meeting we did personality profiles and he was truly unique with balance of leadership, analytics, creativity and empathy.  Yesterday the family turned off the machines to make sure his organs could be donated.   The funeral is being planned for 11/2.

    I'm shocked.  My heart aches for Troy's wife, daughter and son.  I met Troy when he was with Coulter & Justus, and we would see each other regularly at Sage Insights/Summit and various other Sage reseller meetups.  We are close in age, and we had a similar experience in how we both got started in this business.  He was an all-around great person.  I can only imagine the wave of emotions stemming from the highs of Saturday when Troy's beloved Volunteers beat the Crimson Tide in Knoxville to the crushing weight of the tsunami his family must be reeling from due to Troy's tragic fall.  Rest in peace, my friend.  You will be missed by many.

    In order to honor Troy and his love for the Vols we ask that everyone wear something orange or Tennessee. Business casual or casual attire recommended.

    This will be a Celebration that will encompass his favorite things and he would want there to be laughter instead of tears, funny stories and good times spent together.

    THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out to help, prayers, and love for our family. Please RSVP Denise at 865-803-4675 if you plan to attend.  It is a very large space so all are welcome.

    In the coming days we will be putting together a list of charities to donate to in his honor is that is your wish."
