Troubleshooting ALE Lookup issues: I have multiple clients on 4.40 or 4.50 who have one or more standard lookup that returns zero records, usually associated with customer ship to codes. The only knowledge I currently have is to replace the /SOA/SY1Q... files from a good backup, or a standard installation. This tends to wipe out any customized lookups in the process. Does anyone have input on how to troubleshoot a faulty lookup and fix the individual lookup in the appropriate table, or is this global replacement of files the only solution? If so, any developers out there think this would be a sellable utility to develop?

ALE on a ship to codes is an ancient problem for v4.4. They are having issues with v4.5 also? Sometimes you have to destroy in order to build. You don't have to let them know who wiped out their beloved custom ALE's............. I thought you could just wipe out the ALE for that particular lookup and not through up the other babies with the bathwater. Sad to say, this is Sage.........

Did you try running the look up Conversion under utilities? Also, I had someone in 4.40 with lookup issues in ship toaddress views, I rebuilt customizer and it corrected.

I did rebuild customizer, and did run the lookup conversion utility One customer has a slightly different scenario. In Item Maintenance on Primary Vendor field, when they click on the FLASHLIGHT (not magnifying glass) they get the following error ""Error in Lookup_ItemVendorItem

What about rebuilding the key file IM_itemVendor...maybe it's the file and not the lookup? Just a thought.

The vendor lookup issue is probably related to primary vendor divisions being present without a vendor number. https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/14588074

Was there ever a fix for this for v4.4?
