  • 1.  Trend Micro update stops SOTAMAS90 ODBC link

    Discovered an update from Trend Micro over the weekend does not allow the ODBC links to work from external databases for Sage 100.  From ODBC Data Source Administrator, click the SOTAMAS90 User DSN, click Configure, error pops up "MAS 90 ODBC Driver could not be found.  Please reinstall the driver."  Disable Trend Micro and it works as expected.  Still working to find the proper configuration for Trend Micro.

    I have found that I needed to disable the option:
    "Terminate programs that exhibit abnormal behavior associated with exploit attacks"
    under Devices > Desktop > Configure Policy > Behavior Monitoring > Ransomeware Protection > Anti-Exploit Protection

    We found that this option would not allow access to Excel ODBC Queries.
