Training and Certification news: Celina Oliver is moving from the department. She is staying with Sage but won't be the one source of reliable (even if untimely) information that I have depended on for so many years.

She was helpful to the people she like. Much as I suspect Anne Seidel is.

Sadly, I think Wayne has right. Especially about Seidel.

Perhaps Celina realized what a joke the Education department has become and was smart enough to move. The new Sage U website is no more than a cosmetic change with the underlying classes being the same. Sage needs to outsource education to a professional training group that knows how to develop curriculum and deploy classes more appropriately and consistently.

I think SageU was never about training the channel as much as validation for a certification price increase. Preparing a comprehensive training program requires investment, so don't expect any. Besides, has MAS changed that much that it really requires an annual cert? That's akin to asking all drivers to take an annual driving test!

Celina has always been so helpful - all the way back to the Irvine training days. In the Fall of 2011 when we could not figure out how soon we all needed to take the 25 required assessments, she really helped. I asked her how much worse it was for her than it was for us and she said ""you have no idea"". Hope she is in a position she likes.

Ditto what Debbie said. I have a good relationship with her and am sorry to see her leave Education, but wish her well in her new position.
