  • 1.  Todays Date on VI Export formatted

    I asked this on Sage City but thought I'd try here as well.

    On a VI export looking to add a temp field with the current date in YYYYMMDD format and can't figure it out. Looking for any suggestions. Thank you.

    Create a temp variable of string data type then use the following calculation  dte(jul(0,0,0)-1:"YYYYMMDD")

    My previous post is a function for yesterday's date.  Here's today's date  dte(jul(0,0,0):"YYYYMMDD")

    I haven't tested @Brett Zimmerman's solution although I noticed that his has Operation = Calculated.  In the solutions I provided the operation should be Assign.
