Sage 100

Today I saw a recorded Sage 100 demo done last week by Leanne Lowe. The prospect had 20+ operating companies and Leanne suggested they use the Multicompany for Sage 100 to easily switch data entry from one company to another without the need to login to each company one at a time. What the heck is she talking about? She was not describing the DSD MC GL or AP which I'm familiar with.

Perhaps right click on the task to Open in Secondary Company?

No. I don't think so. She said there would be a drop box up by the vendor ID in voice entry. But then said nothing about entering an invoice and distributing it amongst companies.

Maybe this is what she was thinking of. It's there for the MC modification. There may also be other AP mods that do this which she could be referencing.

I'll get clarification later today. Just wondering if I'd missed something this big in v2016.

Turns out it was the DSD MC. She didn't do it justice as the distribute an invoice to several companies wasn't even mentioned. This was a demo done for an individual reseller where they recorded the GoToMeeting session. Does Sage do ""private"" demos?

I think this depends on the timeframe. As I recall Leanne was involved in the Extended Solutions area and regularly did demos both at Summit/Visions and privately. I think Sage does private demos but mostly related to the more complex integrations where they may supply a CRM or HR person to manage the demo and answer questions.
