    Did the Scripting Community/Group go away? I don't see it in any of the lists?? 

    Anywhoooo.... anyone done any scripting or customizations in TimeTrack? I have a client that is asking for users to be allowed to enter in a "total time for the day" rather than a punch in/out. Seems simple enough, but I get an error when trying to access the grid(listbox) in the Punch In screen. 

    My next thought was just to create a Total time UDF and carry that through to Time Entry and have a script run to overwrite the Total time field (It appears to be independent of the actual time in/out. Any one played around in there before? Gotchas, things I haven't considered? Anyone willing to test that grid on their system and see if you too get an error?

    I'm pretty sure my clients enter total time for day only as we are importing it and I know we are not punching in/out.  Is it possible you have the Punch in/out enabled so users are forced to then punch in/out?  Can you disable that option or do they need it enabled for some of the users?

    Yeah they want to use the Punch In Punch out for accountability (and the tie to Job Cost). They will punch in for a job, then punch out/in when they start working on a new Job or cost code. BUT they want people to be able to "punch" after the fact too.

    I wrote a database several years ago, scan enabled for punch-in/out, lunch in/out, job change in/out and integrated to Job Cost and payroll (legacy JC).  I'm happy to share the setup if you are interested, send me PM.
