I have a client who had about 150000 entries in TimeCard. They don't integrate with PR, so couldn't purge to history without running the global field update to change the PR flag to Y.
DO NOT GO THIS ROUTE. I let it run from 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM and it only managed to change about 2/3 of the PR flags. I went ahead and converted with 50K left in the open file. Moving it to history once it was in 2018 took about... oh, 1 minute. (I turned on the PR integration flag and then turned it back off. Boom.) (Made sure to update the 8 records that should have been updated first.)
