Timecard v4.4 - In Timeclock punch in/ punch out, user is getting the following message: ""The T/C Timecard Master file contains 57,090 records."" What is the significance of this message? Anything we need to be concerned with?

For some reason, that just cracked me up. Have you checked the physical size of the file (like is it approaching 2 gig)? It just seems like a purge to history is in their future.

Even with the large number of records, TC1 is only 14MB, I am laughing too because crying doesn't help. They have some strange issues and I have quoted an upgrade three times. Overtime hours sometimes doesn't calculate correctly. I sent the data to Sage and they couldn't re-create the issue.

Back in the day with legacy modules there was an F8 hotkey you could press in masterfile and inquiry screens that would give you this exact msg. E.g. Open Customer Maintenance click F8 and get ""The A/R Customer Masterfile contains x,xxx records"". Since T/C is legacy still - WAG any chance someone clicking on F8?

How large is TCB?

Definitely get that message in TC punch in/punch out when the F8 is selected.
