Timecard problem - MAS 100 Advanced (MAS 200)
Timecard has been working well for my customer except for one thing. The TC1 record of last employee that clocks in in the morning leaves their record ""stuck or open"" even though the Clock In/ Clock Out screen is blank and looks like it is ready for the next employee to clock in or out. In Timecard this is no problem because the next employee to clock in or out ""closes"" the previous phantom record and then that record becomes the one that is stuck. The real problem appears in Payroll. Payroll can't be updated because we get an Error mesage that ""Employee (last one to clock) in TC1 T/C Timecard Master File Update will continue to retry until record is available."" Someone then has to go out to the shop and close the MAS 200 Timecolock computers. And there doesn't appear to see a way of determining if a record is stuck until you try to update payroll and get the error. This is a real daily pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
