Time-sensitive Question for the Group Anyone interested in attending a Cubs game at a rooftop deck venue during Sage Summit? >> IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND, PLEASE COMMENT SO I CAN FOLLOW UP. Tickets would be roughly $190 - would include all food and drink you can consume. Two dates available - 27th @ 7:00 (up against Sage party) or 28th @ 7:00 (last day of Summit) I would like to get a sense of interest level. We would need to pay and secure the space very soon if we want to go.

I don't think so - people should leave their name in the comments - I voted yes on 7/28

Very cool. put me down for 2 tickets on the 27th. We will be leaving Chicago early on the 28th.

I changed my vote to the 27th although either date could work.

For what it is worth, Cubs are playing the White Sox both nights.

When does the polling close? I am a probably for the 27th.

We probably should lock in tickets in by the 20th. That means we would need to have funds from everyone and finalize a date. Not sure if there is an easier way to notify people. My initial thought was to rent an entire rooftop and have it be a 90 Minds member party (plus friends and family). They hold up to 200 though so ... probably unlikely.

    200 X 190 = 38K. Wow, that is some rooftop lucrative business........

I have been on one of the rooftops on Waveland Avenue a few times (left field). There is plenty of good food and booze. Just as good or better than being in a luxury box. They have wait staff, bartenders, cooks, food and booze, maintenance, and expensive real estate costs. Also, the rooftop owners have a revenue sharing agreement with the Cubs. It would be interesting to know what the break even number of patrons per game is.

How well do you see the game or do you just watch the flat screen TV on the roof top??

I have been at Brixen Ivy 1044 Waveland Avenue a couple of times. You can see the game OK and they do have TVs everywhere... but, let's face it.... There is a huge party going on all over the neighborhood and, oh by the way, there happens to be a baseball game going on. The Cubs / Sox ""crosstown series"" is a huge event. Before and after the game the bars and restaurants are packed. Tough to get a cab or a Uber after the game so might as well plan on continuing the party for an hour or so after the final out.

You can get the El train a block from the ballpark. It will get you to/from downtown in 10-15 minutes.

I voted for the 27th although I'm driving and could do the 28th but I would need to confirm my schedule later. Go Cubs!

Isn't drinking beer with your buds **ALWAYS** a reason for going to Summit???

@PeterWolf Can you pay the $38K for the rooftop and collect from everyone at Summit?

I have CRM money, not ERP money...

LOL. You didn't get the memo on the ERP revised tiers. The one Sage sends out about once every three months.

I would totally go, but it's family vacation time. Hope it's a real hit!

I'm bumping this. It doesn't seem like there is a lot of interest from the group (6 yes'es, 9 no's, 100+ no responses) so unless people get vocal, I'm going to pass on arranging this.

If people still want to go and arrange for themselves, the website to purchase tix is: https://www.wrigleyrooftopsllc.com/

I'm amused that no one has admitted to being a communist.

16 votes and 29 comments.... hmmm perhaps there are some closet communists

A communist would question the $190 and suggest that the total be allocated among all 90 Minds members, whether they attend or not.

    Posted 04-12-2016 12:56
As a capitalist I would say if others are paying for me, then I would be more likely to attend.

And this is when one of those party pooper LinkedIn members would say ""this discussion belongs on Facebook"".
