  • 1.  Time Card problem

I'm upgrading a client from 100 Standard 2015, including payroll and Time Card. I very rarely come across the Time Card module. I've installed 2018, applied PU6, rebuilt source keyed files and sorts, followed by parallel migration.

Now when I try to launch 2018, I get an error message stating that the SY0DD4.soa file is full, program SY_Session.pvc line 4434.

If I log in as administrator and launch the company maintenance window and try to convert the data, the message "The Time Card Module needs to be reinstalled".

Anyone familiar with Time Card that may have a solution to this error. I haven't found anything useful on the SAGE KB so far.

    Thanks

I would try to "purge time card data" in the source data prior to migrating data. "Purge" sounds horrible, but it really just moves the data to the history file where it should be. Obviously make backups, try it and see it it fixes the problem.  Let us know if it fixes the issues. The purging fixed a few "time card" errors I was receiving as well in the 2018 migration/ conversion.  Something to try....
