The mere fact he picked up on the rising maintenance fees for those customers who want support for their products demonstrates this isn't his first rodeo. And how about his closing paragraph? He ""stepped back a decade or more"" and basically said Sage is trying to do what others have failed to do. I like this gem too, ""It seems that Sage is walking a fine line between helping its customers stay in the dark ages and encouraging them into a new world."" It seems to me the encouragement is in those rising maintenance fees in products that are going to die.
