    This maybe a newbie CRM security question for me....but for what reason would a CRM user be able to update the Case Details but not the Case Status? The case has been assigned to this user as well. It is just one user that I somehow 'wonkified' their case access. Any tips?

    I'm sorry but I don't understand the question. Is workflow enabled? Was field level security applied to any fields? Is it only one user that has that problem? Do other non-admin users see the same problem? What steps are done to replicate the problem?

    Peter, sorry, it is Friday and I am nearly brain dead from this week. As far as I know the field security has not been enabled. I can make the change as an admin but I did test another non-admin user who I assigned the case to and they also cannot change the case status. I will check if workflow is enabled...maybe that is what I am missing?

    Workflow, curses, it was workflow. Customer accidentally hit the Edit button and forgot to re-activate the workflow. Thanks Peter for triggering my brain.
