Here's a replica of a survey that I did back in 2016 for an existing customer. This customer asked for feedback on various warehouse management options as they had not yet implemented one.
I created these responses based on various replies from members when I asked for their feedback.
What I did was completely anonymize any member ( replace name with CONSULTANT ) and made sure the comments were on topic.
Then I created THE WORLD'S UGLIEST SURVEY RESULTS and emailed the customer.
They loved it.
Here's why I did this
- Got me out of making the recommendation ( which if you've made recommendations in the past the customer somehow always believes you are guaranteeing the work)
- Provided social proof in numbers of consultants who made comments
- I think it balanced out any bias that I might have had - and let the customer read the real world feedback
- It was pretty simple to do and only required a cut/paste and some minor anonymizing and editing
- Customer thinks I know everything about warehouse management
Using a Google Form we could very easily come up with a set of questions as well as space for open comments. Those who reply are eligible to gain access to our ISV feedback surveys.
Here's the survey results which I don't think I did much more than copy and paste into an email. This particular customer has been very loyal and has continuously expanded their use and spend with Sage ever since this survey.
Important - the following is just an example and is likely outdated so don't evaluate for technical accuracy, rather use it as an example of what I've found the customer really appreciated me providing to them. Do not underestimate the value of this. I don't envision sending this to random Sage 100 users who are not under your reseller of record. This type of effort should be for good customers.
90 Minds could package this up and sell it back to the ISVs or make it a benefit of their membership and/or attending MOTM ( maybe a separate ISV specific survey is done at MOTM with everyone who attends). There is a lot of potential here to differentiate 90 Minds from all the BPAC level VARS and answer their question of why should they send someone to 90 Minds when their BPAC level firm is already storing files and making KB notes.
