I have multiple Dropbox accounts. The one that I use for upgrades is a physically separate Dropbox where I only share the files that I need. I make that DropBox read only then I put it on a customer site. The reason you do NOT want to use your regular DropBox to a customer site is that even if you selective sync only files you need someone with access to the server can change that selective sync and potentially get access to everything in your Dropbox. For $99 a year I get a GREAT amount of use out of Dropbox. The first thing I do on every project is to install a Dropbox to synchronize all my upgrade files. This is a great opportunity to get an inexpensive first year subscription and try this type of file distribution. A great many of my upgrades and projects are done remotely so having something dependable such as Dropbox is crucial for me. Don't make the mistake of sticking your personal Dropbox on a customer server because (a) they have access potentially to all your Dropbox files and (b) if it's not read only and the customer gets a malware then they potentially infect your file storage.
