Does Sage have a policy pertaining to Sage 100 compatibility with third party Sage endorsed products?  Specifically, how quickly does a developer have to get the third party Sage endorsed product compatible with a new version release of Sage 100?

I doubt they have a Standard or an Agreement as Kissinger Union Automation is not yet done for 2018 and their answer is 'no ETA in sight'.  My customers now have to evaluate a new solution.
I'm guessing Sage feels it's the Developer's loss, and has no concern for the end user.
    My rant for today!

If there is a standard, I'm unaware of it.
The only standard I've ever observed is that if there are lots of users of the enhancement/product that it tends to be upgrade much more timely.

If there isn't a standard then there should be.  If the product is on the Sage price list then the customer should expect to have be able to upgrade within a reasonable time after Sage releases a new version.  My customer wants to upgrade to 2019.  Scanco indicated that 2019 requires multi-bin enterprise which will not be ready until the 4th quarter 2019 at the earliest.  Realistically, it may not be available until 1st quarter 2020, a year after 2019 was released.  If Sage only supports the 2019 for two or three years, by the time my customer goes live on 2019 they only have a year or so before they are on an unsupported version.

I'm lobbying hard for this very issue ( amongst others )  to be addressed with Sage executives by the group.  I personally lobbied the product people in Atlanta but mostly walked away thinking all I got was shrugs.
