Things move fast in this new world ""instant"" communication. At 9:40 am EDT, I received this message from SAGE: ***************************************************************************************************************************** Hi Sage Summit Business Partner, Thank you for attending Sage Summit 2012 this year. We appreciate your continued support of the event, and we look forward to seeing you next month in Nashville. I am Alankar Tayal, Sr. Manager of Usability, Testing & Analytics Strategy for Sage North America. What does this mean? Well it means that I drive the usability of the Sage North America websites, and it is my job to ensure what we deliver on our website is user-friendly, easy to navigate, useful, etc. ****************************************************************************************************************************** The invite went on to suggested I sign up for a one-on-one meeting at Summit. Then at 11:28 am EDT, I received this message from SAGE: ********************************************************************************************************** Hi Sage Summit Business Partner, Thank you for the wonderful response. As of now we have more requests than the sessions available. Hence we are closing the sign-up for these sessions. ******************************************************************************************************************** Wow, SAGE gave me only 1 hour and 45 minutes to sign up for this marvelous opportunity. I guess I better move faster in the future to keep up.

Do that many people have creative suggestions or did someone think better of the idea and pull the plug?

I don't think he was asking for assistance on SAGE's sites, here is some more of the letter that I received. i.e. Let me tell YOU how your web site sucks.......... I will be presenting some sessions this year at Sage Summit, but the main reason for this email is to offer you the opportunity to meet one-on-one with me during the event to conduct usability walk through your website and talk about the how you can get more out of your website by making simple changes. We are offering only twenty 30-minute one-on-one sessions from Tuesday to Friday. In the session, I will conduct a quick usability best practice walk through of your site to uncover a list of quick hit recommendations on things such as: 1.Page layout: Does the page layout work for your type of business? Are there any barriers that make it difficult for the user to use the page? 2.Call to actions: How can we get more visitors to click on them? Are they visible? Do they make sense? 3.Content: How can we get more visitors to read your content? Is it scan friendly? Is it usable? 4.Navigation: How can we get visitors to easily go through your site? Is navigation obvious? Does navigation make sense? 5.Forms: What can you do to get more visitors to fill out your forms?

That's the way I read it, too @JeffSchwenk but I was a little surprised by how quickly they were taken, if indeed that's what happened.

I didn't read the original email but this interpretation makes sense.
