These guys appear to be making a full court press to dominate the SEO for MAS90 and all terms related. http://erp-software-now.com/erp-software/update-to-sage-mas-90-and-mas-200-version-4-5-today/

@MarkChinsky That's exactly my experience. Case in point - last night at 4:30pm someone in NJ called claiming to be a computer consultant who had a 3.7 MAS90 customer needing an upgrade. I'll spare the boring details but essentially they wanted me to give them a price to upgrade, reinstate maintenance and bill through their company. This is exactly the type of terrible lead that crawls the web. If you don't filter these people out (I told them our top of the head starts at number is $12,000 for a customer we didn't sell the software from and who is coming from 3.x) then you will spend a LOT of wasted time educating them for free. These people have assigned no value to solving any problem.

This is really kind of pathetic. It flies in all the rules of ""good"" SEO and yet it seems to be having the desired effect and bumping them up in the search ranks. I have been asking my team ""why don't we just take our Ignite articles (http://ignite.azamba.com) and post them on these article sites""? It sure seems like it would increase our exposure with no negative ramifications from the search engine gods.

Yea, google really needs to hire some humans where you can flag this crap and they can look at clear abuse patterns. Give them some warnings, but this is just the kind of content spam they swore their last big update was supposed to avoid. I bet their bounce rate is humongous Sent from my iPad HD On Apr 12, 2012, at 10:34 AM, ""Peter Wolf"" <share@socialcast.com<mailto:share@socialcast.com>> wrote:

This is a big part of why social is expected to become a bigger factor in search. It's harder to game. At least that's the theory. We'll see if it holds true for less popular searches such as ERP, MAS90, etc.
