@ThereseLogeais Let's create an instruction sheet for these folks on webinars. They need to be on their line with us via phone a minimum of 30 minutes with a designated contact prior to the scheduled start time. We also need to make them aware that opening the phone lines on a call is generally not a good idea and that we are not available to mute and/or unmute specific lines. Do you know what the issue was with Tyler? He literally called me 4-5 minutes before the schedule start time and I had no idea what to tell him and obviously it's too late for me to get in touch with anyone because the session is being setup. I expect to hear from several people at iSySair - if Peter doesn't get the call first.

I talked to him afterwards. He wanted everyone unmuted but I don't think anyone realized they were and there was just a lot of background noise. I told Tyler and/or Hellen I wanted to connect 15 minutes before and they were a little late. I called him before it started and he was okay with things. His main concern afterwards was the fact that Gary was listed twice as an attendee. He feels it isn't fair that Gary and DSD have open access to the group for basically nothing compared to their Platinum membership. He said he has a hard time wrapping his head around it. How does he get access to the members and their customers for what they are paying?

I'm not independent with respect to DSD - so I'll sidestep that. WRT to I-BN I hear the concerns about existing members and believe they have at least some validity. I think with everyone who is in the group (including Peter) who has more of a vendor member practice vs Sage 100 consulting that we need to reconcile them to either a vendor member role or provide these vendor members with similar/same level of access in Socialcast. We do have a call scheduled this Thursday with 9 vendor members (All were invited) to discuss ways we are addressing this issue. We expect to create at least two external facing Socialcast groups -- most likely one that is ""general"" and another for ""integrations and third parties"" (not 100% on naming). Here is the link for the webinar. https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2331153029178427650 These two external groups would be for admitting vendor members. The vendor members admitted would not have any access to any prior content in any other group. Our ""regular"" members would also be admitted into these two external groups. It is here that they would interact with vendor members (and vice versa). We have received requests from more than just iSySair to have some type of access to Socialcast. They (iSySair) do however seem to be the one vendor member where we repeatedly have the most issues. To my knowledge we aren't experiencing similar issues with other vendor members. I think one concern of mine is that the service cloud hosting companies are providing is arguably not super differentiated. Many different VARS (DSD included) can startup their own white label hosting services with very little effort. I think of this almost as akin to me striking out in a new direction as a ""Crystal Reports"" design expert or a ""Scripting Expert"" - asking to join as a vendor member - and then expecting no other consultant in 90 Minds would offer those services unless we made them a vendor member. Obviously I'm stretching a bit but hopefully you get the issue that I think we are experiencing with cloud hosting. 1. How do you get access to the members? - We're working on creating at least two Socialcast groups - Attend MOTM - Webinars 2. How do you get access to end users - By referral from existing members - Webinars that may be customer facing

Could we add it to the document we send them to complete?

I think we should send them an instruction sheet in the form of an email immediately after the webinar info is submitted to us. If we use email at least we know that they will be able to receive/review it. We also need to have an initial call with them to review the webinar they are proposing, manage their expectations about who attends, whether it's recorded, whether it's moderated (usually no) and give some recommendations about the muting/un-muting and let them know that we're not going to be playing traffic cop unless that's a responsibility we've outlined ahead of time. IIG is our next webinar happening on Tuesday of next week. We have 11 people signed up so it might be a good one for us to go through these procedures with them in advance - especially since I'm unsure how skilled IIG is at these webinars.
