I'm looking at the agenda from:
https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/23041931?ref=group
1. We are 30 days out from this event - probably 15 of those are going to be spent chasing people for materials. At this stage in the game I think Acumatica and xTuple should go on Saturday as scheduled otherwise you really have almost completely revamp the agenda and again look at the number of sessions that are content v sponsor, etc.
2. The session after Acumatica and xTuple seems relevant for discussion on experiences ""Diversifying with another ERP solution panel"".
The problem you may have is nobody will be candid about bad experiences -- at least about Acumatica, xTuple or Sage with those vendors sitting in the room (and lets presume they will be). So you could still have the session be about how quickly people ""ramped up"" , what their experiences were, etc.
I'm not entirely sold Phil is going to be a great resource other than to talk about how custom programming is easier with xTuple and I'm unsure that's relevant to most people. Mark Chinsky and Gary Feldman seem to have the most real world experience with diversifying -- if Phil and Brian are going to talk about xTuple (do we know what products they are going to talk about?) I think it's going to be a thin panel content wise.
If possible I'd think about whether Mark Chinsky and Gary Feldman could be added. Maybe even Jeff Roth.
3. re: Job Ops / SIA session
I find the MFG goes a little deep into the weeds and at this stage if people are doing Job Ops they're referring it or they are already JO certified. Couldn't Moira and John split this up and fit it within their session? I'm sure there's a desire to give the Job Ops person more time to present but they're not a sponsor and we cannot keep re-arranging the schedule.
I would hope that this schedule becomes ""locked down"" ASAP and that we:
a. Have confirmed each and every session with ""?"" next to a person's name
b. Are in the process of receiving detailed titles and session descriptions from everyone including vendor members
c. Can have a final draft no later than Friday January 23, 2015 at noon ET
d. If you need any help or have any issues whatsoever it is imperative that you ask for assistance well in advance of next week - this is t-minus 30 days -- it's time to lock this down and get it done.
Thanks!
