You might try adding the ""PrintedByUser"" formula found on standard reports to the Picking Sheet form. The formula is [formula = """"] in Basic Syntax and is programmed to pick up this user data when printing.

Beth, ASI wrote a pretty elaborate custom picking program that helps identify the orders to pick according to the quantity on hand and as a part of that, we write the user code and date/time that the picking sheet was printed. Cooper

@CooperBlack - normally I would pick up on that, but this client has done his own thing and modified the hell out of the picking sheet to kind of do that same thing (he's a really good programmer). @BillPfahnl - I'll look into that!

Cool. I believe it's triggered by the formula name, so I would recommend simply copying it from an existing form. Also, it won't work when run from Crystal directly.

@RobertWood - hush. I like asking the same question that's already been asked 15 times. (I actually KNEW I had read something about it, but as usual, failed to find it.) (I suck at searches, unless it's on Ebay for Disney stuff.)

Actually I ask the same question 15 times because I have forgotten that I asked 14 time previously.

So @RobertWood how does the phone number get formatted when passed? Only asking because I added it to a form on my local system and it came in formatted as (123) 456-7890 but when I copied it over to the end-user, it came in as 1234567890. I was able to use the picture formula but I thought it was odd that it came in differently.

@JeffSchwenk funny enough, I think the original post was written as a response to a question you had. I may be wrong though. That was four years ago.

@ThereseLogeais I can't remember. It probably has something to do with a Windows setting.
