Receiving a message that the subscription renewal date has expired, however client has a valid subscription. Sage advised to manually update by going to Registration tab and pressing Update. Upon doing so receive a message " There were no license or subscription updates found."

We have followed the instructions for all security and firewall setting published by Sage and still receive the message. Client is running Sage 2018 version 6.00.5.0 on a Windows 2016 server.

As proof of valid subscription, I put clients activation keys in a test Sage environment and no issues, comes back with accurate subscription expiration date.

Did you try Edit - Activate (as if you typed in new keys)?  I've found Update is not always reliable.

The test environment. Was this done when connected to the client's network?

It was a sandbox server on their network.

I had this happen a couple of months ago and had to call Sage support to have them IM the people in charge of the license server to have them fix the issue.

I had something similar with a customer a week or so ago except they were getting an error. "Could not contact the license and subscription service in the time allowed."

Called Sage and they said it was most likely due to restrictions communicating with a foreign country. Gave me this kb:

I am with Phil.  The licensing server is across the pond.  Tech support had to get that updated.  Took over an hour but they finally got it working.
