There is not really a category/forum for SMI but I wanted to share that we have encountered bugs with SMI. Consolidations: The first one is somewhat minor, if the Company name has a comma in it no data is pulled into SMI for that company (temp workaround remove comma from company name). This might be relevant because a lot of company names have something like "", Inc."" at the end. Consolidations: The second one is that you are unable to pull in budgets for all the companies can only pick one company budget. We have been back & forth with Sage on this over several weeks. They are working with Alchemex to fix. No fix date given as yet. The third one isn't related to consolidations. If the customer uses a fiscal vs calendar year (i.e. 5/4/4) the accounts are duplicated on Sheet 1 and the end data is incorrect. There is a Program Issue on the Sage site that indicated a similar scenario. It has been reported by one customer (Issue Id 46324) and Sage is unable to figure out the problem. It was set for a Hot Fix but then later changed to Deferred to Alchemex with fix date of 11/30/2012. No other details are available. Just a warning out to people trying to use SMI with consolidations or fiscal years.

Hot Fix Per 112439/Dev 47315 (called Query timeouts) fixes the duplication issue. However the KB article was not labeled as such, and even internal support knew nothing about this. Sage is stalling on the fix for the Consolidated Budgets issue because they felt it was an enhancement and should have a lower priority. The fix is targeted for the year-end timeframe.
