Sage 100

The second annual Meeting of The Minds is scheduled for February 15-17, 2012 in San Diego CA. All 90 Minds members (or designates from their offices) are invited (encouraged) to attend. This year we will host the meetings at the Embassy Suites Sand Diego (La Jolla) so that there will not be a need for a shuttle bus in the morning and afternoon. Our tentative agenda (and attendee list) may be viewed a the link below. Please know that this agenda is subject to change as we are still confirming presenters and topics. There is also a link to hotel reservations ($149/night plus 12.75% tax) in the document below. Cost is $150 for first person from office / $ 75 each additional (This will help to pay for the hotel room and any other costs such as lunch/dinner). As of now we are trying to get a headcount so we know how many to plan for (last year about 20 people attended and the feedback was very good about making this an annual event). I'm sorry for the delay, my mother is very ill and I've been taking care of her while working so no traveling for me for a while. Thank you.

@KathyPurkiss , so sorry to hear about your Mom. Sending your warm thoughts and support.

Thanks Deb, it's been a long year for her and myself. She lost her husband last fall to suicide after 36 years of marriage, stroke, heart attack, heart failure, heart surgery and now broken hip. Her heart is failing so I've been working off my dining room table to take care of her and try to give her some quality and peace of life with what life she has left. So hard to see our loved ones fade in front of us but I'm thankful I can be there for her.

So glad you can be there for her @KathyPurkiss and I know we all at 90Minds wish you the best in this very difficult time. You are in our thoughts.

I had already booked through the 17th and it gave me the $149 rate for all 4 nights.

I had them allocate some of the rooms thru the 18th but not all of them . So far about half of you have book your rooms. I recommend doing it sooner then later.

I am trying to determine whether to return Sun eve or Mon AM. How long does the Sunday certification process go?

Everyone should check to see what certs they need before that day.

I just did my Sage 300 recert. Are the Sage 100 2013 recert requirements listed anywhere in clear detail??

Sunday is a free day. If everyone wants to sit in the same room and take the assessments, it's their choice. If someone accidentally asks a question out loud and someone accidentally blurts out the answer, who are we to judge?

You mean no one else that will be there knows how to Swing (Dance)! Maybe we can do a gotomeeting with video and I will teach everyone. :)

My wife and I took some lessons about 8 years ago. I could definitely benefit from a refresher.

Next time I am around and we have a dance floor and some music I would be more than glad to show you and anyone else a little bit of what I know. I was really big into it back in 1997-2002. Use to teach it to a lot of groups and one on ones. When I was really into it I was out dancing 4 or more nights a week. That wasn't enough to be called a swing kid. You had to dance at least 6 nights and really live the life. Was fun when I would dress the part. Now the only changing of outfits throughout the night are on my kids when they throw up or have accidents.

With Paperless Office electronic delivery, it's a SNAP! Now, be sure to verify that your check is being sent to the Waynesboro administrative processing facility address of the Corporate headquarters. Failure to do so will result in $25 ""I can't follow directions"" surcharge.......... Also, be sure to verify your remit to address table for the correct address. Jsut amazing at the number of ""rocket scientists"" who used the wrong address last time......... And if the $25 fee isn't enough incentive, then there will be public humiliation for all guilty parties....
