What's the countdown clock on Steve Hare's imminent departure? I want to go on record as saying he's out before June 1st 2020. On a related note, I think it's going to get uglier for Sage soon. Say what we want about Stephen Kelly's choices - and there is a lot that can be said - but to go from an aggressive risk-taker to a conservative bean counter is the type of choice that can tear a company in two. It would not surprise me to see many initiatives unwind and everyone at Sage to turn over once again in the next 18 months. Am I off-base with that thinking? Too cynical?

I think that Hare's tenure will be very similar to Sue Swenson. I won't be surprised to read of dispositions (likely PE). I'm just unsure what their plan B for growth is. From this side of the globe it seems like Intacct might be one provided they can build it out globally within 18 months.
