I have a customer on sage 100 premium 2019 who is testing an upgrade and we have installed Sage 100 2019 Premium and they are scripting the workstation installer. They get everything to work except Sage throws "The PVX Object Init Failed". They enter through this and it appears to let me into Sage.

They are asking if it's ok to ignore this error message. I'm not quite sure what the repercussions might be if we just enter through it.

I've found the KB as well as prior post from Brett regarding ZZZ files and forwarded info to the IT folks.

Before I say don't worry about the error I'd be curious if anyone knows what the potential trouble is with ignoring and entering past it.

I find that running the install As Administrator is a good work around for that message (though not 100% effective).

Unfortunately they don’t grant local admin to their users.

You need local Admin permissions to install.  Not optional.

Looks to be permissions based. I went through this a year ago with these folks. Sites where they don't allow users to have local administrator privileges are especially challenging to configure by scripting or when there are large numbers of users whose desktops need updating.

I also have a problem with workstation sync wanting those rights but I understand that may go away in 2020
