no - but everyone out of physical count. I think last time this happened they had to get everyone out and reboot - just trying to figure out what might be holding this up. I've emailed their IT people to see if anything they are doing might be locking files. @Aaron - they have EB Platinum (formerly SGS Care)

Reboot is usually the answer when things are locked for no apparent reason.

Kill pvxwin's on server? Server reboot?

thanks everyone - we'll get everyone out and reboot. i think this may be getting hung up during attempts to print the variance register to paperless office (over remote desktop) that are failing. Maybe when we get that fixed this will go away.

I have had luck with this kind of thing by getting everyone out and using server manager to check for open MAS files. Closing them often took care of an issue. Why the files are left in an open state is beyond me but at least I don't have to reboot the server. A couple times, even with people on I found and closed any MAS files that showed with a user ID that was not on and it relieved a problem.
